                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further regulating calibration of scales.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  Section 4981(e) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
     6  Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
     7  § 4981.  Weighing and measurement of vehicles.
     8     * * *
     9     (e)  Calibration of portable scales.--Portable scales shall
    10  be calibrated every [30] 90 days for the purpose of
    11  certification and accuracy by the Department of Agriculture.
    12     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
