AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Pennsylvania College of Straight
2 Chiropractic.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $500,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Pennsylvania College of Straight Chiropractic, for its fiscal
7 year July 1, 1987, to June 30, 1988, for the general maintenance
8 of the college.
9 Section 2. Payments to the Pennsylvania College of Straight
10 Chiropractic on account of the appropriation in section 1 shall
11 be made quarterly by the Department of Education on the basis of
12 costs during the fiscal year.
13 Section 3. The Pennsylvania College of Straight Chiropractic
14 shall provide such information as may be required to carry out
15 the provisions of this act and in such form and manner as the
16 Department of Education may prescribe.
17 Section 4. The Pennsylvania College of Straight Chiropractic
1 shall report its revenues and expenditures and present its
2 financial statements in accordance with generally accepted
3 accounting principles and procedures for educational
4 institutions as set forth in the "Higher Education Finance
5 Manual of 1975," without exception.
6 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1987, or
7 immediately, whichever is later.
