A JOINT RESOLUTION
1 Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the Commonwealth
2 of Pennsylvania, requiring the Supreme Court to establish
3 financial disclosure requirements for certain attorneys and
4 for members of the unified judicial system.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby resolves as follows:
7 Section 1. The following amendment to the Constitution of
8 Pennsylvania is proposed in accordance with Article XI:
9 That section 10 of Article V be amended by adding a
10 subsection to read:
11 § 10. Judicial administration.

13 (f) The Supreme Court shall prescribe general rules
14 governing financial disclosure requirements for full-time
15 attorneys employed by the Commonwealth or political
16 subdivisions, for justices, judges and justices of the peace,
17 and for all other officers and employees of the unified judicial
1 system. The rules shall provide financial disclosure
2 requirements which are no less stringent than those provided by
3 statute for public officers generally.
