AN ACT
1 Requiring the Department of General Services to place the
2 official portrait of all former Governors and Lieutenant
3 Governors in an appropriate place in the State Capitol.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Placement.
7 The Department of General Services shall place the official
8 portrait of all former Governors and Lieutenant Governors, upon
9 the expiration of their terms, in an appropriate place within
10 the State Capitol Building.
11 Section 2. Designation of artist.
12 The former Governor or Lieutenant Governor may designate the
13 artist of his choice from a list provided by the Department of
14 General Services.
15 Section 3. Expenses.
16 The Department of General Services shall pay all costs and
17 expenses incurred in carrying out this act, including payment of
1 the fees of the artist.
2 Section 4. Effective date.
3 This act shall take effect immediately.
