AN ACT
1 Amending the act of July 2, 1986 (P.L. , No.10A), entitled
2 "An act itemizing appropriations required from the Motor
3 License Fund for the fiscal year July 1, 1986, to June 30,
4 1987, for the proper operation of the several departments of
5 the Commonwealth authorized to spend Motor License Fund
6 moneys," increasing the appropriation for the operation of
7 State airports; and providing additional appropriations for
8 commuter airline facilities and a Statewide aviation weather
9 operation system.
10 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
11 hereby enacts as follows:
12 Section 1. As much as relates to the Department of
13 Transportation in section 3 of the act of July 2, 1986 (P.L.
14 , No.10A), known as the Motor License Fund Appropriation Act of
15 1986, is amended to read:
16 Section 3. The following sums, or as much thereof as may be
17 necessary, are hereby appropriated from the Aviation Restricted
18 Revenue Account in the Motor License Fund to the hereinafter
19 named agencies of the Commonwealth for the purposes set forth
20 herein for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1986, and for the
21 payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of
1 the fiscal year ending June 30, 1986:
2 To the Department of Transportation
3 For payment for aviation operations, including
4 the operation and maintenance of State-owned
5 aircraft, payment of general expenses, supplies,
6 printing and equipment; for the development and
7 maintenance of State airports and the maintenance
8 and repair of landing fields, intermediate landing
9 fields, landing field equipment, beacon sites and
10 other navigation facilities; and for the
11 encouragement and development of civil
12 aeronautics....................................... [$5,320,000]

14 For payment for airport construction and
15 development, including encouragement and
16 development of aeronautics, development of State
17 airports and assistance to political subdivisions
18 and municipal authorities in the construction and
19 improvement of airports and other aeronautical

21 For payments to public airports for runway and
22 taxiway rehabilitation............................ 500,000
23 For real estate tax rebate payments to
24 privately owned public use airports............... 231,000
25 For design development of additional commuter
26 airline facilities at Harrisburg International

28 For engineering, design, purchase, installation
