                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of June 22, 1931 (P.L.682, No.249), entitled,
     2     as amended "An act relating to birds, fowl and domestic
     3     animals, and providing for their appraisement when condemned
     4     to prevent the spread of disease; and regulating payments by
     5     the Commonwealth in such cases, and the payment of salvage by
     6     butchers," further providing for provisions which should not
     7     be violated.

     8     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     9  hereby enacts as follows:
    10     Section 1.  Section 2.2 of the act of June 22, 1931 (P.L.682,
    11  No.249), entitled, as amended, "An act relating to birds, fowl
    12  and domestic animals, and providing for their appraisement when
    13  condemned to prevent the spread of disease; and regulating
    14  payments by the Commonwealth in such cases, and the payment of
    15  salvage by butchers," added October 10, 1974 (P.L.680, No.227),
    16  is amended to read:
    17     Section 2.2.  No person, copartnership, association or
    18  corporation violating any of the provisions of the act of April
    19  17, 1929 (P.L.533, No.236), or the act of July 22, 1913


     1  (P.L.928, No.441), as supplemented by the act of March 28, 1929
     2  (P.L.110, No.117), or any order, rule or regulation adopted by
     3  authority of those acts shall be eligible for compensation under
     4  this act, as to any animal involved in such violation or any
     5  animal in any herd or flock containing any animal involved in
     6  such violation or as to any violation which the Secretary of
     7  Agriculture determines directly or indirectly contributed to the
     8  disease of any animal subject to this act.
     9     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
