AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Philadelphia College of Art,
2 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $535,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Philadelphia College of Art, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the
7 fiscal year July 1, 1986, to June 30, 1987, for instruction and
8 student aid.
9 Section 2. Payments to the Philadelphia College of Art on
10 account of the appropriation provided in section 1 shall be made
11 by the Secretary of Education in equal quarterly payments.
12 Section 3. The Philadelphia College of Art shall provide
13 such information as may be necessary to carry out the provisions
14 of this act and in such form and manner as the Department of
15 Education shall prescribe.
16 Section 4. The Philadelphia College of Art shall report its
17 revenues and expenditures and present its financial statement in
1 accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and
2 procedures for educational institutions as set forth in the
3 "Higher Education Finance Manual of 1975," without exception.
4 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1986, or
5 immediately, whichever is later.
