AN ACT
1 Amending the act of October 18, 1972 (P.L.951, No.232), entitled
2 "An act amending the act of June 22, 1931 (P.L.594, No.203),
3 entitled 'An act establishing certain township roads as State
4 highways; authorizing their construction, maintenance, and
5 improvement under certain conditions and restrictions;
6 limiting the obligation of the Commonwealth in the
7 construction of certain structures located on such highways;
8 conferring certain powers upon the Department of Highways and
9 local authorities, persons, associations and corporations for
10 sharing the cost of the maintenance and construction of such
11 highways; and making an appropriation to carry out the
12 provisions of said act,' changing routes in Centre County,"
13 further providing for the effective date.
14 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
15 hereby enacts as follows:
16 Section 1. Section 2 of the act of October 18, 1972
17 (P.L.951, No.232), entitled "An act amending the act of June 22,
18 1931 (P.L.594, No.203), entitled 'An act establishing certain
19 township roads as State highways; authorizing their
20 construction, maintenance, and improvement under certain
21 conditions and restrictions; limiting the obligation of the
22 Commonwealth in the construction of certain structures located
23 on such highways; conferring certain powers upon the Department
1 of Highways and local authorities, persons, associations and
2 corporations for sharing the cost of the maintenance and
3 construction of such highways; and making an appropriation to
4 carry out the provisions of said act,' changing routes in Centre
5 County," amended July 3, 1974 (P.L.457, No.160), is amended to
6 read:
7 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately as to the
8 amendment of Route 14014. As to the amendment of Route 14016,
9 this amending act shall take effect upon completion of the
10 highway project involving L.R. 1050(2) and .R.R. 14016, Spur F,
11 from Township road 342 in the Township of College to L.R. 1050,
12 identified as Map 12 in the Pennsylvania State Highway
13 Commission's Six-Year Improvement Program--July 1, 1969 to June
14 30, 1975 and the restoration of those portions of L.R. 14016 to
15 be turned over to Patton Township as specified in 75 Pa.C.S. §
16 9207.
17 Section 2. This act shall be retroactive to September 1,
18 1974.
19 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
