AN ACT
1 Making an additional appropriation to the Department of Public
2 Welfare for increases in certain supplemental assistance
3 payments to qualified individuals.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of $7,000,000, or as much thereof as may
7 be necessary, is hereby appropriated to the Department of Public
8 Welfare for fiscal year 1985-1986 for increases in the State
9 supplemental assistance for qualified individuals residing in
10 licensed personal care boarding homes.
11 Section 2. The appropriation in section 1 is in addition to
12 any sums received by the Department of Public Welfare under
13 section 218 of the act of June 30, 1985 (P.L. , No.5A), known
14 as the General Appropriation Act of 1985.
15 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
