                                     AN ACT

     1  Authorizing and directing the Department of General Services,
     2     with the approval of the Governor and the Secretary of Public
     3     Welfare, to convey to Susquehanna Township a tract of land
     4     situate in Susquehanna Township, Dauphin County,
     5     Pennsylvania.

     6     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     7  hereby enacts as follows:
     8     Section 1.  The Department of General Services, with the
     9  approval of the Governor and the Secretary of Public Welfare, is
    10  hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the Commonwealth of
    11  Pennsylvania to grant and convey to Susquehanna Township for a
    12  consideration of one-half the fair market value as determined by
    13  an independent appraiser approved by the Department of General
    14  Services the following tract of land situate in Susquehanna
    15  Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, bounded and described as
    16  follows:
    17     All that certain lot, piece or parcel of land situated in
    18  Susquehanna Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, bounded and
    19  described as follows:

     1     Beginning at a point, said point being located on the
     2  southern right-of-way line of Elmerton Avenue an approximate
     3  distance of 1500 feet east of the intersection of Elmerton
     4  Avenue and State Farm Drive; thence along the southern right-of-
     5  way line of Elmerton Avenue north 77 degrees 56 minutes 19
     6  seconds east a distance of 604.63 feet to a point; thence along
     7  lands now or formerly of the Pennsylvania Game Commission south
     8  14 degrees 18 minutes 00 seconds east a distance of 191.90 feet
     9  to a point; thence along the same lands south 15 degrees 50
    10  minutes 00 seconds east a distance of 152.00 feet to a point;
    11  thence continuing along the same lands south 17 degrees 24
    12  minutes 00 seconds east a distance of 87.80 feet to a point;
    13  thence along the lands now or formerly of the Pennsylvania
    14  Department of Public Welfare the following courses and
    15  distances: South 72 degrees 46 minutes 09 seconds west a
    16  distance of 68.91 feet to a point; south 10 degrees 14 minutes
    17  36 seconds east a distance of 433.71 feet to a point; south 06
    18  degrees 55 minutes 20 seconds west a distance of 473.20 feet to
    19  a point; thence along the lands now or formerly of Prime Realty
    20  Development Corporation north 87 degrees 31 minutes 00 seconds
    21  west a distance of 156.53 feet to a point; thence along the same
    22  lands north 86 degrees 56 minutes 00 seconds west a distance of
    23  261.52 feet to a point; thence along the lands now or formerly
    24  of the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare North 11
    25  degrees 35 minutes 19 seconds west a distance of 1210.49 feet to
    26  a point, said point being on the southern right-of-way line of
    27  Elmerton Avenue and being the point of beginning.
    28     Containing 16.20 acres, more or less.
    29     As shown on a plan of property of the Pennsylvania Department
    30  of Public Welfare, Susquehanna Township, Dauphin County,

     1  Pennsylvania, dated September 19, 1985, prepared by Herbert,
     2  Rowland and Grubic, Inc., Consulting Engineers, Harrisburg,
     3  Pennsylvania.
     4     Section 2.  The conveyance shall be made under and subject to
     5  all easements, servitudes and rights of others, including, but
     6  not confined to, streets, roadways and rights of telephone,
     7  telegraph, water, electric, sewer, gas or pipeline companies, as
     8  well as under and subject to any interest, estates or tenancies
     9  vested in third persons, whether or not appearing of record, for
    10  any portion of the land or improvements erected thereon.
    11     Section 3.  The deed of conveyance shall be approved as
    12  provided by law and shall be executed by the Secretary of
    13  General Services in the name of the Commonwealth of
    14  Pennsylvania.
    15     Section 4.  Costs and fees incidental to this conveyance
    16  shall be borne by the grantee.
    17     Section 5.  This act shall take effect immediately.
