AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the photographs which appear
3 on drivers' licenses.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 1510 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 1510. Issuance and content of driver's license.

10 (a.1) Photographs.--A driver's license issued after January
11 1, 1986, to any person under 21 years of age shall bear a
12 photograph of the licensee in profile. A driver's license issued
13 to any person 21 years of age or older shall bear a fullface
14 photograph of the licensee. If a person is issued a license
15 while under 21 years of age and that person reaches 21 years of
16 age before the license expires, the department shall issue to
17 him a license bearing a fullface photograph, upon application
18 for the license and payment of the replacement license fee
1 specified in section 1951(d) (relating to driver's license and
2 learner's permit). The department may demand proof of age prior
3 to the issuance of a license.
