                                     AN ACT

     1  Exempting owners of certain existing firing ranges from any
     2     civil or criminal actions relating to noise pollution.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5  Section 1.  Immunity of rifle range owner from liability for
     6                 noise.
     7     The owner of a rifle, pistol, skeet or trapshooting range in
     8  this Commonwealth in existence on the effective date of this act
     9  shall be exempt or immune from any civil action or criminal
    10  prosecution in any matter relating to noise or noise pollution
    11  resulting from the range.
    12  Section 2.  Effective date.
    13     This act shall take effect immediately.
