AN ACT
1 Amending Title 71 (State Government) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, providing for annual cost-of-living
3 increases in State pensions.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 71 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 5708.2. Cost-of-living allowances.
9 In addition to the supplemental annuities provided for in
10 sections 5708 (relating to supplemental annuities) and 5708.1
11 (relating to additional supplemental annuities) each annuitant
12 shall receive an annual cost-of-living increase calculated by
13 multiplying $1 times the number of months of his credited
14 service.
15 Section 2. This act shall take effect January 1, 1986.
