AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Pennsylvania Emergency Management
2 Agency for loans to volunteer companies.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $5,000,000 $10,000,000, or as much <--
6 thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated to the
7 Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency for the fiscal year
8 July 1, 1985, to June 30, 1986, for the purpose of making loans
9 to volunteer companies under the act of July 15, 1976 (P.L.1036,
10 No.208), known as the Volunteer Fire Company, Ambulance Service
11 and Rescue Squad Assistance Act.
12 Section 2. The appropriation shall, under section 19 of the
13 act of July 15, 1976 (P.L.1036, No.208), known as the Volunteer
14 Fire Company, Ambulance Service and Rescue Squad Assistance Act,
15 be a continuing appropriation and shall not lapse.
16 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1985, or
17 immediately, whichever is later.
