A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
1 Directing the Joint State Government Commission to develop a job
2 training program.
3 RESOLVED (the Senate concurring), That the Joint State
4 Government Commission is directed, in cooperation with the
5 Departments of Education, Labor, Commerce and Community Affairs,
6 to propose a program utilizing the institutions of the
7 Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and the community
8 colleges throughout Pennsylvania to provide job training for the
9 unemployed persons of this Commonwealth; and be it further
10 RESOLVED, That the Joint State Government Commission report
11 its findings and make recommendations for proposed legislation
12 within six months from the adoption of this resolution.
