AN ACT
1 Amending the act of June 10, 1982 (P.L.454, No.133), entitled
2 "An act protecting agricultural operations from nuisance
3 suits and ordinances under certain circumstances," extending
4 provisions to include certain firing ranges.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. The act of June 10, 1982 (P.L.454, No.133),
8 entitled "An act protecting agricultural operations from
9 nuisance suits and ordinances under certain circumstances," is
10 amended by adding a section to read.
11 Section 4.1. Immunity of rifle range owner from liability
12 for noise.--All owners of rifle, pistol, skeet or trapshooting
13 ranges in this Commonwealth in existence on the effective date
14 of this act shall be exempt or immune from any civil action or
15 criminal prosecution in any matter relating to noise or noise
16 pollution resulting from the rifle range.
17 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
