AN ACT
1 Amending the act of June 3, 1937 (P.L.1225, No.316), entitled
2 "An act concerning game and other wild birds and wild animals;
3 and amending, revising, consolidating, and changing the law
4 relating thereto," exempting certain persons from certificates
5 of training.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. Section 301.1(a) of the act of June 3, 1937
9 (P.L.1225, No.316), known as The Game Law, amended December 22,
10 1981 (P.L.527, No.149), is amended to read:
11 Section 301.1. Certificate of Training.--(a) No hunting
12 license shall be issued to any person unless he presents to the
13 person authorized to issue such license either (i) evidence that
14 he has held a hunting license issued by the Commonwealth of
15 Pennsylvania or another state or nation in a prior year, or (ii)
16 a certificate of training as provided in this section, or (iii)
17 a certification signed by the applicant on the hunting license
18 application stating that he has held a hunting license issued by
19 the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or another state or nation in a
1 prior year but is unable to produce evidence of holding such
2 license, or (iv) evidence that he served in the Armed Forces of
3 the United States for at least two years or that he received an
4 honorable discharge from the Armed Forces of the United States.
