AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Stephen Smith Home for the Aged.
2 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
3 hereby enacts as follows:
4 Section 1. The sum of $900,000 is hereby appropriated to the
5 Stephen Smith Home for the Aged for the fiscal year July 1, 1983
6 to June 30, 1984 for the operation and maintenance of the
7 facility.
8 Section 2. Payments to the Stephen Smith Home for the Aged
9 on account of the appropriation provided in section 1 shall be
10 made by the Secretary of Public Welfare.
11 Section 3. The Stephen Smith Home for the Aged shall provide
12 such information as may be necessary to carry out the provisions
13 of this act and in such form and manner as the Department of
14 Public Welfare shall prescribe.
15 Section 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
