AN ACT
1 Authorizing the release of Project 70 restrictions imposed on
2 certain lands owned by the Westmoreland County Authority.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Authorization.
6 Pursuant to the requirements of section 20(b) of the act of
7 June 22, 1964 (Sp.Sess., P.L.131, No.8), known as the Project 70
8 Land Acquisition and Borrowing Act, the General Assembly hereby
9 authorizes the release of the restrictions imposed by section 20
10 of the Project 70 Land Acquisition and Borrowing Act from the
11 lands owned by the Westmoreland County Authority and more
12 particularly described in section 3.
13 Section 2. Freedom of restrictions.
14 The lands described in section 3 and owned by the
15 Westmoreland County Authority shall be free of the restrictions
16 on use and alienation imposed by section 20 of the act of June
17 22, 1964 (Sp.Sess., P.L.131, No.8), known as the Project 70 Land
1 Acquisition and Borrowing Act upon the imposition of and
2 recording of the Project 70 deed restrictions on the parcel of
3 land owned by the County of Westmoreland and located in the
4 Township of Sewickley, Westmoreland County.
5 Section 3. Land to be free from restrictions.
6 The parcel of land authorized to be released from
7 restrictions is more particularly described as follows:
8 Beginning at a point located in the centerline of Legislative
9 Route 64191; thence along the common boundary of lands now or
10 formerly owned by the Sewickley Township Volunteer Fire Company
11 and Relief Association and Sewickley Township; thence north 11
12 degrees 03 minutes 30 seconds west a distance of 150 feet to a
13 point; thence north 74 degrees 53 minutes east a distance of 100
14 feet to a point; thence south 11 degrees 03 minutes 30 seconds
15 east 150 feet to a point; thence south 74 degrees 53 minutes
16 west a distance of 100 feet to the point of beginning.
17 Containing 15,000 square feet of land more or less.
18 Section 4. Effective date.
19 This act shall take effect immediately.
