AN ACT
1 Amending the act of May 11, 1982 (No.2A), entitled "An act to
2 provide from the General Fund for the expenses of the
3 Executive, Legislative and Judicial Departments of the
4 Commonwealth, the public debt and for the public schools for
5 the fiscal period July 1, 1982 to June 30, 1983, and for the
6 payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close
7 of the fiscal period ending June 30, 1982; providing for an
8 appropriation for the fiscal period July 1, 1982 to June 30,
9 1983 from the Lottery Fund for aging programs; itemizing
10 appropriations required from the Motor License Fund for the
11 fiscal period July 1, 1982 to June 30, 1983 for the proper
12 operation of the several departments of the Commonwealth
13 authorized to spend Motor License Fund moneys and for the
14 payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close
15 of the fiscal period ending June 30, 1982; itemizing
16 appropriations of the Federal Augmentation to the Executive
17 and Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth; establishing
18 restricted receipts accounts for the fiscal period July 1,
19 1982 to June 30, 1983 and for the payment of bills incurred
20 and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal period ending
21 June 30, 1982; providing additional funds for various
22 departments of the Commonwealth for the fiscal period July 1,
23 1981 to June 30, 1982; providing additional General Fund
24 appropriations from funds reserved from fiscal year 1980-1981
25 and providing additional appropriations from the Federal
26 augmentation funds for the fiscal period July 1, 1981 to June
27 30, 1982," providing for the implementation of shared savings
28 programs with respect to utility costs of the Department of
29 General Services.
30 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
31 hereby enacts as follows:
1 Section 1. So much of section 201 of the act of May 11, 1982
2 (No.2A), known as the General Appropriation Act of 1982, as
3 relates to utility costs and Harristown utility and municipal
4 charges in the Department of General Services, is amended to
5 read:
6 Section 201. The following sums, or as much thereof as may
7 be necessary, are hereby specifically appropriated from the
8 General Fund to the several hereinafter named agencies of the
9 Executive, Legislative and Judicial Departments of the
10 Commonwealth for the payment of salaries, wages or other
11 compensation and travel expense of the duly elected or appointed
12 officers and employees of the Commonwealth, for payment of fees
13 of contractual services rendered, for the purchase or rental of
14 goods, services, printing, equipment, land and buildings and for
15 payment of any other expenses, as provided by law or by this
16 act, necessary for the proper conduct of the duties, functions
17 and activities and for the purposes hereinafter set forth for
18 the fiscal period beginning July 1, 1982 and for the payment of
19 bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal
20 period ending June 30, 1982.
