AN ACT
1 Amending the act of December 18, 1980 (P.L.1252, No.228),
2 entitled "A supplement to the act of October 6, 1980
3 (P.L.784, No.145), entitled 'An act providing for the capital
4 budget for the fiscal year 1980-1981,' itemizing public
5 improvement and furniture and equipment projects, to be
6 constructed by the Department of General Services and
7 transportation assistance projects to be acquired or
8 constructed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
9 together with their estimated financial cost; authorizing the
10 incurring of debt without the approval of the electors for
11 the purpose of financing the projects to be constructed by
12 the Department of General Services or Department of
13 Transportation, stating the estimated useful life of the
14 projects; providing for the adoption of capital projects to
15 be financed from current revenues of the Boating Fund and the
16 Fish Fund and making an appropriation," increasing a project.
17 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
18 hereby enacts as follows:
19 Section 1. Clause A, the heading of subclause IX and
20 subproject (1) of project (x) of subclause IX of clause B of
21 section 1 of the act of December 18, 1980 (P.L.1252, No.228),
22 entitled "A supplement to the act of October 6, 1980 (P.L.784,
23 No.145), entitled 'An act providing for the capital budget for
24 the fiscal year 1980-1981,' itemizing public improvement and
1 furniture and equipment projects, to be constructed by the
2 Department of General Services and transportation assistance
3 projects to be acquired or constructed by the Pennsylvania
4 Department of Transportation together with their estimated
5 financial cost; authorizing the incurring of debt without the
6 approval of the electors for the purpose of financing the
7 projects to be constructed by the Department of General Services
8 or Department of Transportation, stating the estimated useful
9 life of the projects; providing for the adoption of capital
10 projects to be financed from current revenues of the Boating
11 Fund and the Fish Fund and making an appropriation," clause A
12 and the heading of subclause IX amended June 19, 1982 (P.L.571,
13 No.165), are amended to read:
14 Section 1. Itemization and Authorization of Public
15 Improvement Projects.--Additional capital projects in the
16 category of public improvement projects to be acquired or
17 constructed by the Department of General Services, its
18 successors or assigns, and to be financed by the incurring of
19 debt, are hereby itemized, together with the respective
20 estimated financial cost and the total additional amount
21 authorized for the public improvement projects as follows:

9 Section 2. The additional $390,000 for the alterations to
10 the boiler plant at Torrance State Hospital shall be provided
11 from excess funds available in the unallocated reserve of the
12 Capital Facilities Fund.
13 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
