AN ACT 1 Amending the act of March 4, 1971 (P.L.6, No.2), entitled "An 2 act relating to tax reform and State taxation by codifying 3 and enumerating certain subjects of taxation and imposing 4 taxes thereon; providing procedures for the payment, 5 collection, administration and enforcement thereof; providing 6 for tax credits in certain cases; conferring powers and 7 imposing duties upon the Department of Revenue, certain 8 employers, fiduciaries, individuals, persons, corporations 9 and other entities; prescribing crimes, offenses and 10 penalties," reducing commissions for stamping agencies; 11 providing for the disposition of money saved thereby; 12 creating the Youth Fund; and providing for duties of the 13 Department of Community Affairs. 14 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 15 hereby enacts as follows: 16 Section 1. The act of March 4, 1971 (P.L.6, No.2), known as 17 the Tax Reform Code of 1971, is amended by adding a section to 18 read: 19 Section 1218. Appropriation.--(a) One-half of the amount of 20 moneys formerly allowed cigarette stamping agencies under 21 section 1216 during the last effective year of that section are 22 hereby appropriated on an annual basis to the Youth Fund. 23 (b) There is hereby created the Youth Fund separate and
1 apart from other public moneys of the Commonwealth. This fund 2 shall be administered by the Department of Community Affairs and 3 shall be used for grants to girls softball, little league and 4 pony league baseball and pee wee football programs. 5 (c) The Department of Community Affairs shall, in the manner 6 provided by law, promulgate the rules, regulations and forms 7 necessary to carry out this section. 8 Section 2.
