In the House of Representatives, May 4, 1982
1 WHEREAS, The General Assembly recognizes the significant
2 contribution that the aviation industry makes to the
3 Commonwealth; and
4 WHEREAS, The aviation laws in the Commonwealth are not
5 contained in any single code or statute; and
6 WHEREAS, The General Assembly recognizes the necessity for
7 the codification of the aviation laws to provide for a more
8 coherent understanding of the laws both to the aviation
9 community and to the Commonwealth; therefore be it
10 RESOLVED, That the General Assembly do direct the Aviation
11 Subcommittee of the Transportation Committee of the House of
12 Representatives to undertake the task of codifying all of the
13 aviation laws of the Commonwealth under a single title of the
14 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes.
