AN ACT
1 Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, providing for the definition of
3 "motorcycle" and further providing for the definition of
4 "motor vehicle."
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Section 7365(c) of Title 18, act of November 25,
8 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated
9 Statutes, is amended to read:
10 § 7365. Trading in motor vehicles and trailers.

12 (c) Definitions.--As used in this section the following
13 words and phrases shall have the meanings given to them in this
14 subsection:
15 "Motorcycle." A motor vehicle having a seat or saddle for
16 the use of the rider and designed to travel on not more than
17 three wheels in contact with the ground.
18 "Motor vehicle." Every self-propelled device, other than a
1 motorcycle, in, upon or by which any person or property is or
2 may be transported or drawn on a public highway.
3 "Trailer." Every vehicle, without motor power, designed to
4 carry property or passengers or designed and used exclusively
5 for living quarters wholly on its own structure, and to be drawn
6 by a motor vehicle.
7 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
