AN ACT
1 Providing for the capital budget for the fiscal year 1982-1983.
2 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
3 hereby enacts as follows:
4 Section 1. Construction.
5 This act and its supplements shall constitute the "Capital
6 Budget Act of 1982-1983 Fiscal Year." The provisions and
7 definitions of the act of July 20, 1968 (P.L.550, No.217), known
8 as the "Capital Facilities Debt Enabling Act," unless
9 inconsistent herewith, shall apply.
10 Section 2. Overall limitations on debt to be incurred for
11 capital projects.
12 The maximum principal amount of additional debt to be
13 incurred hereafter during the 1982-1983 fiscal year and
14 thereafter until the enactment of the 1983-1984 capital budget
15 specifying such maximum debt for the 1983-1984 fiscal year, for
16 capital projects specifically itemized in a capital budget
17 pursuant to section 7(a)(4) of Article VIII of the Constitution
1 of Pennsylvania, and the fund to be charged with the repayment
2 of such debt shall, with respect to each category of capital
3 projects, be as follows:

7 of General Services
8 (a) Construction $120,000,000 General Fund or
9 (b) Furniture and 2,000,000 Special Fund as
10 Equipment applicable
11 (2) Transportation
12 Assistance Projects 75,000,000 General Fund
13 Total 197,000,000
14 Section 3. Effective date.
15 This act shall take effect July 1, 1982 or, if enacted
16 subsequent to that date, immediately.
