                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, providing for offenses against a
     3     person using a guide dog because of deafness.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 7325 of Title 18, act of November 25,
     7  1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     8  Statutes, is amended to read:
     9  § 7325.  Discrimination on account of guide dog.
    10     A person is guilty of a summary offense if he, being the
    11  proprietor, manager or employee of a theatre, hotel, restaurant
    12  or other place of public entertainment or amusement, refuses,
    13  withholds or denies any [blind] person, who is using a [seeing
    14  eye] guide dog, because of the blindness or deafness of the
    15  user, the use of or access to any accommodation, advantage,
    16  facility or privilege of such theatre, hotel, restaurant or
    17  other place of public entertainment or amusement.

     1     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
