AN ACT
1 Prohibiting investment of State funds in institutions which deal
2 with the Republic of South Africa.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. After the date of enactment of this act, no State
6 funds shall be invested or deposited in any bank or financial
7 institution which makes loans to the Republic of South Africa or
8 to a national corporation of the Republic of South Africa, or to
9 a subsidiary or affiliate of a United States company operating
10 in the Republic of South Africa and no assets shall remain
11 invested in the stocks, securities or other obligations of any
12 company doing business in or with the Republic of South Africa.
13 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
