                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of June 3, 1937 (P.L.1225, No.316), entitled
     2     "An act concerning game and other wild birds and wild
     3     animals; and amending, revising, consolidating, and changing
     4     the law relating thereto," increasing the fine for littering
     5     and providing for the payment of a fee to informers out of
     6     the fine.

     7     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     8  hereby enacts as follows:
     9     Section 1.  Section 802, act of June 3, 1937 (P.L.1225,
    10  No.316), known as "The Game Law," added June 11, 1963 (P.L.121,
    11  No.79), is amended to read:
    12     Section 802.  Unlawful Acts Respecting Property.--It shall be
    13  unlawful for any person while hunting or trapping, or while on
    14  lands open to hunting or trapping, (i) to deposit and leave any
    15  garbage, bottles, cartons, containers, glass, paper or other
    16  rubbish or debris, except in places or receptacles maintained
    17  for that purpose; (ii) to dig in or drive a motor vehicle on any
    18  cleared field, except with the permission of the owner, tenant
    19  or other person in charge of such land; or (iii) to park or


     1  leave standing any motor vehicle in such manner as to block the
     2  means of ingress or egress to any person's property, cattle ways
     3  or fields.
     4     Any person violating [any of the provisions] subclause (i) of
     5  this section shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine
     6  of [twenty-five dollars ($25)] three hundred dollars ($300) and
     7  costs of prosecution. Out of the fine, a fee of fifty dollars
     8  ($50) shall be paid to the first person who supplies information
     9  which leads to the arrest and conviction of any person violating
    10  the provisions of subclause (i)
    11     Any person violating the provisions of subclauses (ii) and
    12  (iii) shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of
    13  twenty-five dollars ($25) and costs of prosecution.
    14     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
