AN ACT
1 Amending Title 71 (State Government) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, authorizing the purchase of credit for
3 certain previous State service.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 5302 of Title 71, act of November 25,
7 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated
8 Statutes, is amended by adding a subsection to read:
9 § 5302. Credited State service.

11 (d) Certain National Guard service.--A person who was a
12 National Guard civilian employee prior to July 31, 1968 shall be
13 entitled to purchase credit in the particular class of service
14 in which he served for each year or fraction thereof served.
15 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
