        AS REPORTED FROM COMMITTEE ON URBAN AFFAIRS, HOUSE OF
           REPRESENTATIVES, AS AMENDED, OCTOBER 20, 1981

                                     AN ACT

     1  Fixing the salary of the register of wills, district attorney,
     2     city commissioners, CLERK OF QUARTER SESSIONS and the sheriff  <--
     3     of Philadelphia and making repeals.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  The annual salary of the register of wills of
     7  Philadelphia shall be $35,000.
     8     Section 2.  The annual salary of the district attorney of
     9  Philadelphia shall be $42,000.
    10     Section 3.  The annual salaries of the city commissioners of
    11  Philadelphia shall be $35,000 for each commissioner.
    12     Section 4.  The annual salary of the sheriff of Philadelphia
    13  shall be $35,000.
    14     SECTION 5.  THE ANNUAL SALARY OF THE CLERK OF QUARTER          <--
    15  SESSIONS SHALL BE $35,000.
    16     Section 5 6.  (a)  The following acts or parts thereof are     <--


     1  hereby repealed.
     2     The act of June 12, 1923 (P.L.692, No.288), entitled, as
     3  amended, "An act fixing the salary of city commissioners of
     4  Philadelphia, formerly known as county commissioners in counties
     5  of the first class."
     6     Section 1, act of August 9, 1955 (P.L.312, No.123), entitled
     7  "An act fixing the salary of the district attorney of
     8  Philadelphia."
     9     (b)  All other acts or parts thereof which are inconsistent
    10  with the provisions hereof are repealed.
    11     Section 6 7.  This act shall take effect immediately.          <--
