AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric
2 Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The following sums, or as much thereof as may be
6 necessary, are hereby specifically appropriated to the
7 Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, Philadelphia,
8 Pennsylvania, for its fiscal period July 1, 1981 to June 30,
9 1982, for the purposes and in the amounts as shown:
10 For instruction - Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
11 Program........................................... $707,000
12 For operation of podiatric clinic.............. 500,000
13 Section 2. Payments to the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric
14 Medicine, on account of the appropriation provided in section 1
15 shall be made by the Secretary of Education on the basis of
16 costs during the fiscal period.
17 Section 3. The university shall provide such information and
1 in such form and manner as the Department of Education may
2 prescribe.
3 Section 4. The Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine,
4 shall report its revenues and expenditures and present its
5 financial statements in accordance with generally accepted
6 accounting principles and procedures for educational
7 institutions as set forth in the "Higher Education Finance
8 Manual of 1976," without exception.
9 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1981.
