AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the use of certain visual
3 signals on police and fire vehicles.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Paragraph (1) of subsection (b) of section 4571
7 of Title 75, act of November 25, 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known
8 as the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, amended February 15,
9 1980 (P.L.12, No.8), is amended to read:
10 § 4571. Visual and audible signals on emergency vehicles.

12 (b) Police and fire vehicles.--
13 (1) Police and fire vehicles may in addition to the
14 requirements of subsection (a) be equipped with revolving or
15 flashing blue lights. The combination of red and blue lights
16 may be used only on police and fire vehicles.

18 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
