                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, exempting from any fee the transfer of title to a
     3     surviving spouse.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 1902, act of November 25, 1970 (P.L.707,
     7  No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, is
     8  amended by adding a clause to read:
     9  § 1902.  Exemptions from other fees.
    10     No fee shall be charged under this title for or to any of the
    11  following:
    12         * * *
    13         (7)  The transfer of title to a surviving spouse pursuant
    14     to section 1114 (relating to transfer of vehicle by operation
    15     of law).

     1     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
