                                     AN ACT

     1  Requiring joint hearings of the Senate and House Appropriations
     2     Committees on the general appropriations bill.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  The Appropriations Committee of the Senate and
     6  the Appropriations Committee of the House of Representatives
     7  shall annually conduct joint hearings on the general
     8  appropriations bill which hearings shall commence when the
     9  general appropriations bill is first introduced and shall
    10  continue until such bill has been passed finally by the General
    11  Assembly.
    12     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
