SENATE BILL

        AS REPORTED FROM COMMITTEE ON STATE GOVERNMENT, HOUSE OF
           REPRESENTATIVES, AS AMENDED, JUNE 23, 1980

                                     AN ACT

     1  Authorizing and directing the Department of General Services,
     2     with the approval of the Department of Public Welfare          <--
     3     AGRICULTURE and the Governor to convey to the Township of      <--
     4     Collier ten acres of land, more or less, situate in the
     5     Township of Collier, Allegheny County, Commonwealth of
     6     Pennsylvania.

     7     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     8  hereby enacts as follows:
     9     Section 1.  The Department of General Services, with the
    10  approval of the Department of Public Welfare AGRICULTURE and the  <--
    11  Governor, is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the
    12  Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to grant and convey for a
    13  consideration of $1, to the Township of Collier the following
    14  tract of land situate in the Township of Collier, County of
    15  Allegheny, and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bounded and
    16  described as follows:
    17     Beginning at a point near the centerline intersection of
    18  L.R.02041, L.R.02344, and L.R.02022 being Hilltop Road, said


     1  point being also on the easterly line of property now or
     2  formerly Equitable Gas Company; thence in and through L.R.02041
     3  a 33 feet right-of-way, and along the easterly line of property
     4  now or formerly of Equitable Gas Company, and along the easterly
     5  line of property now or formerly of James B. Blackburn, et al,
     6  north 05 degrees, 21 minutes west, a distance of 458.00 feet to
     7  a point; thence continuing along the easterly line of Blackburn,
     8  north, 82 degrees, 21 minutes west, a distance of 99.00 feet to
     9  a point at the northwesterly corner of the herein described
    10  property; thence along line of said Blackburn and the southerly
    11  line of property now or formerly of Collier Sportsmen
    12  Association north 64 degrees, 20 minutes east, a distance of
    13  766.56 feet to a point; thence through property of which this is
    14  a part, south 21 degrees, 18 minutes east, a distance of 633.86
    15  feet to a point in the centerline of Hilltop Road, being
    16  L.R.02022, a 33 feet right-of-way; thence continuing through
    17  property of which this is a part and along the centerline of
    18  said Hilltop Road the following bearings and distances:
    19     South 68 degrees, 42 minutes west, a distance of 271.80 feet
    20  to a point; thence by the arc of a circle deflecting to the
    21  right in a southwesterly direction having a radius of 1330.00
    22  feet, an arc distance of 298.67 feet to a point; thence south 81
    23  degrees, 34 minutes west, a distance of 241.66 feet to a point
    24  at the place of beginning.
    25  Containing 10 acres.
    26     The conveyance shall be made under and subject to all
    27  easements, servitudes and rights of others, including but not
    28  confined to streets, roadways, and rights of any telephone,
    29  telegraph, water, electric, sewer, gas or pipeline companies, as
    30  well as under and subject to any interest, estates, or tenancies

     1  vested in third persons, whether or not appearing of record, for
     2  any portion of the land or improvements erected thereon.
     3     Section 2.  The Deed of Conveyance shall contain a clause
     4  that the lands conveyed shall be used for a municipal complex by
     5  the Township of Collier and if at any time the said Township of
     6  Collier or its successor in function conveys said property or
     7  authorizes or permits said property to be used for any purpose
     8  other than those aforementioned, the title thereto shall
     9  immediately revert to and revest in the Commonwealth of
    10  Pennsylvania.
    11     Section 3.  The Deed of Conveyance shall be approved by the
    12  Department of Justice and shall be executed by the Secretary of
    13  General Services in the name of the Commonwealth of
    14  Pennsylvania.
    15     SECTION 4.  ALL COSTS AND FEES INCIDENTAL TO THE CONVEYANCE    <--
    16  SHALL BE BORNE BY THE GRANTEE.
    17     Section 4 5.  This act shall take effect immediately.          <--
