In the House of Representatives, June 21, 1979
1 WHEREAS, Robbins Avenue from Roosevelt Boulevard to the
2 Tacony Bridge (L.R.67327) and Levick Street from the Tacony
3 Bridge to Roosevelt Boulevard (L.R.67020 and L.R.67022) in the
4 City of Philadelphia are extremely dangerous traffic routes; and
5 WHEREAS, Three children were killed in recent years on these
6 perilous streets; and
7 WHEREAS, The most serious traffic problem is the heavy volume
8 of trucks; therefore be it
9 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives urge the
10 Secretary of Transportation to have truck traffic prohibited on
11 the above mentioned routes; and be it further
12 RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
13 the Secretary of Transportation.
