                                     AN ACT

     1  Authorizing and directing the Department of General Services,
     2     with the approval of the Governor, to convey to the Borough
     3     of Norristown, 2,970 square feet of land, more or less,
     4     situate in the Borough of Norristown, Montgomery County,
     5     Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

     6     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     7  hereby enacts as follows:
     8     Section 1.  The Department of General Services, with the
     9  approval of the Governor, is hereby authorized and directed on
    10  behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to grant and convey
    11  to the Borough of Norristown the following tract of land situate
    12  in the Borough of Norristown, Montgomery County, and
    13  Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows:
    14     Beginning at a point in lands of the General State Authority,
    15  an agency of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, on the extended
    16  center line of Green Valley Road 14 feet wide said point being
    17  on a bearing north 72 degrees 01 minutes east, 424.94 feet
    18  distant from the intersection of the center line of the said
    19  Green Valley Road with the center line of Fornance Street 40

     1  feet wide; thence from the said point of beginning, on lands of
     2  the aforesaid General State Authority the following eight
     3  courses and distances: south 81 degrees 13 minutes east 50 feet
     4  to a point; north 08 degrees 47 minutes east 50 feet to a point;
     5  north 81 degrees 13 minutes west 50 feet to a point; south 08
     6  degrees 47 minutes west 15 feet to a point; north 81 degrees 13
     7  minutes west 19 feet to a point on the southeasterly line of
     8  Green Valley Road; thence, along the said southeasterly line of
     9  Green Valley Road south 48 degrees 42 minutes west 24 feet to a
    10  point; south 81 degrees 13 minutes east 28 feet to a point,
    11  south 08 degrees 47 minutes west 15 feet to a point and the
    12  place of beginning, containing a total of 2,970 square feet.
    13     The conveyance shall  be made under and subject to all
    14  easements, servitudes and rights of others, including but not
    15  confined to streets, roadways and rights of any telephone,
    16  telegraph, water, electric, sewer, gas or pipeline companies, as
    17  well as under and subject to any interest, estates or tenancies
    18  vested in third persons, whether or not appearing of record, for
    19  any portion of the land or improvements erected thereon.
    20     Section 2.  The Deed of Conveyance shall contain a clause
    21  that the lands conveyed shall be leased by the Borough of
    22  Norristown for a satellite antenna site and if at any time the
    23  said Borough of Norristown or its successor in function conveys
    24  said property or permits said property to be used for any
    25  purpose other than those aforementioned, the title thereto shall
    26  immediately revert to and revest in the Commonwealth of
    27  Pennsylvania.
    28     Section 3.  The land to be leased and demised by the
    29  Department of General Services shall be free of restrictions on
    30  use and alienation prescribed by section 20 of the act of June

     1  22, 1964 (Sp.Sess. P.L.131, No.8), known as the "Project 70 Land
     2  Acquisition and Borrowing Act" upon the execution and filing of
     3  a document of release citing the sponsorship of the General
     4  State Authority Project No. 182-1 by the Borough of Norristown
     5  and the jurisdiction and control of the area by said Borough;
     6  provision for the pass-through of rentals from the user of the
     7  antenna site to the Project 70 Reserve account and the benefits
     8  to the public, from the restrictions of the use and alienation
     9  prescribed by section 20(b) of said act.
    10     The document of Release in such case shall, upon the
    11  execution of the lease, be prepared by direction of the office
    12  of the Attorney General and filed in Montgomery County.
    13     Section 4.  The Deed of Conveyance shall  be approved by the
    14  Department of Justice and shall be executed by the Secretary of
    15  General Services in the name of the Commonwealth of
    16  Pennsylvania.
    17     Section 5.  This act shall take effect immediately.
