AN ACT 1 Declaring and adopting the song "My Pathway Leads to 2 Pennsylvania" by Tracy Schwarz, as the State song of the 3 Commonwealth. 4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 5 hereby enacts as follows: 6 Section 1. The song "My Pathway Leads to Pennsylvania," by 7 Tracy Schwarz, is hereby adopted as the State song of 8 Pennsylvania and shall be the official song for all public 9 purposes. The words of the song are as follows: 10 My Pathway Leads to Pennsylvania 11 Verse 1: 12 I wonder if they think of me back where I come from 13 It seems so long since I left all alone 14 And do they know I long to feel their arms around me 15 I'm going home to those hills where I belong. 16 Chorus: 17 'Cause in my dreams I can hear my sweetheart calling 18 Calling me back where the leaves have turned to gold
1 And I know my pathway leads to Pennsylvania 2 'Cause I can almost see the lights of home. 3 Verse 2: 4 In lonesome dreams I wander through the hills and valleys 5 They're gently shrouded in a fog hanging low 6 Their long green fields and golden leaves will bear the 7 message 8 They'll tell my darling wait for me I'm coming home. 9 Repeat chorus. 10 Verse 3: 11 Now when I left my home and hills of Pennsylvania 12 I longed for distant and new lands to roam 13 But if I ever make it back to Pennsylvania 14 I'll never leave those hills I've learned to call my own. 15 Last chorus: 16 'Cause in my dreams I can hear my loved ones calling 17 Calling me back where the leaves have turned to gold 18 And I know my pathway leads to Pennsylvania 19 'Cause I can almost see the lights of home 20 Yes I can almost see the lights of home. 21 Section 2.
