AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the length of certain
3 combinations carrying motor vehicles.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Subsection (b) of section 4923 of Title 75, act
7 of November 25, 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the
8 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, amended June 6, 1979
9 (No.12), is amended to read:
10 § 4923. Length of vehicles.

12 (b) Exceptions.--The limitations of (a) do not apply to the
13 following:
14 (1) Any motor vehicle equipped with a boom or boom-like
15 device if the vehicle does not exceed 55 feet.
16 (2) [The load on a] Any combination designed exclusively
17 for carrying motor vehicles if the overall length of the
18 combination and load does not exceed [60] 65 feet.
1 (3) Any combination transporting articles which do not
2 exceed 70 feet in length and are nondivisible as to length.
3 (4) Any bus of an articulated design which does not
4 exceed 60 feet.
5 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
