AN ACT
1 Authorizing and directing the Department of Revenue to acquire
2 and distribute additional lottery machines or terminals and
3 making an appropriation.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Acquiring additional machines.
7 The Department of Revenue is hereby authorized and directed
8 to acquire 600 additional lottery machines or terminals used for
9 the daily number program.
10 Section 2. Distribution.
11 The Department of Revenue through the Bureau of State
12 Lotteries shall distribute the additional lottery machines or
13 terminals throughout the Commonwealth in the same proportion as
14 those in use on the effective date of this act.
15 Section 3. Appropriation.
16 The sum of $750,000, or as much thereof as may be necessary,
17 is hereby appropriated to the Department of Revenue for the
1 purchase and distribution of the additional machines or
2 terminals as provided for in this act.
3 Section 4. Effective date.
4 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
