AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for the issuance of a commercial vehicle
3 permit.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 75, act of November 25, 1970 (P.L.707,
7 No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, is
8 amended by adding a section to read:
9 § 1345. Commercial vehicle permit.
10 The department shall in the case of any motor vehicle with a
11 convertible or interchangeable body usable for both passenger
12 and commercial purposes including a motor vehicle commonly known
13 as a suburban, station or depot wagon, which is used primarily
14 for commercial purposes, issue an annual permit for a fee of
15 $20, which permit shall designate the vehicle as a commercial
16 vehicle. Such commercial vehicle permit shall be of a type which
17 can be affixed to the registration plate. The department shall
18 prescribe a form for use when making application for a
19 commercial vehicle permit.
1 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
