                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of June 3, 1937 (P.L.1333, No.320), entitled
     2     "An act concerning elections, including general, municipal,
     3     special and primary elections, the nomination of candidates,
     4     primary and election expenses and election contests; creating
     5     and defining membership of county boards of elections;
     6     imposing duties upon the Secretary of the Commonwealth,
     7     courts, county boards of elections, county commissioners;
     8     imposing penalties for violation of the act, and codifying,
     9     revising and consolidating the laws relating thereto; and
    10     repealing certain acts and parts of acts relating to
    11     elections," further providing for the filing of reports by
    12     candidates and political committees in special elections.

    13     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    14  hereby enacts as follows:
    15     Section 1.  Subsection (e) of section 1626, act of June 3,
    16  1937 (P.L.1333, No.320), known as the "Pennsylvania Election
    17  Code," added October 4, 1978 (No.171), is amended to read:
    18     Section 1626.  Reporting by Candidate and Political
    19  Committees and other Persons.--

    21     (e)  All candidates or political committees, required to file
    22  under this section, shall also file a post-election report not


     1  later than thirty (30) days after an election except a special
     2  election which shall be complete as of twenty (20) days after
     3  the election. In the case of a special election the post-
     4  election report shall be complete as of ten (10) days after such
     5  special election.

     7     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
