AN ACT
1 Amending Title 24 (Education) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing an additional limitation on creditable
3 nonschool service.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 8304(b) of Title 24, act of November 25,
7 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated
8 Statutes, is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
9 § 8304. Creditable nonschool service.

11 (b) Limitations on nonschool service.--Creditable nonschool
12 service credit shall be limited to:

14 (6) Previous work experience of the type required for
15 permanent certification as a vocational teacher: Provided,
16 That the creditable service for such experience shall be the
17 number of years of such service in excess of four years and
18 shall not exceed the lesser of five years or the number of
1 years of credited school service.

3 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
