A SUPPLEMENT 1 To the act of March 11, 1971 (P.L.104, No.3), entitled, as 2 amended, "An act providing property tax or rent rebate to 3 certain senior citizens, widows, widowers and permanently 4 disabled persons with limited incomes; establishing uniform 5 standards and qualifications for eligibility to receive a 6 rebate; and imposing duties upon the Department of Revenue," 7 providing an additional filing period for certain claimants. 8 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 9 hereby enacts as follows: 10 Section 1. In addition to the filing periods for claims 11 provided in section 5 of the act of March 11, 1971 (P.L.104, 12 No.3), known as the "Senior Citizens Property Tax or Rent Rebate 13 Act," an additional filing period for persons filing claims for 14 rebates for real property taxes or rent due and payable during 15 calendar year 1977 shall be allowed. Any otherwise eligible 16 claimant may file a claim for such a rebate up until March 31, <-- 17 1979. APRIL 30, 1979. This act shall expire after said date. <--
