1 BE IT RESOLVED, By the Pennsylvania State House of
2 Representatives that a majority of its members hereby express
3 their regret that Governor Milton J. Shapp has not lived up to
4 the hopes of those who elected him, that he has not met the
5 responsibilities of his office, and that his continued
6 occupation of the office is detrimental to the immediate and
7 lasting interests of our beloved Commonwealth; and be it further
8 RESOLVED, That we direct the Speaker of the House to inform
9 His Excellency that a majority of the members of this House
10 request his immediate resignation from the Office of Governor of
11 the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
