AN ACT
1 To appropriate Federal funds available for implementation of
2 Title II, Public Law 94-369 to the Department of Welfare.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. This act shall be known and may be cited as the
6 "Intergovernmental Antirecession Act of 1978."
7 Section 2. The General Assembly hereby appropriates
8 $25,500,000, $32,000,000 or as much thereof as may be necessary, <--
9 from the Federal funds available in the General Fund for
10 implementation of Title II of the "Public Works Employment Act
11 of 1976" (Public Law 94-369), as amended by Title VI of the
12 "Intergovernmental Antirecession Assistance Act of 1977" (Public
13 Law 95-30), to the hereinafter named agency of the Executive
14 Department of the Commonwealth for the payment of expenses of
15 implementing and carrying out the programs stated herein for the
16 fiscal year beginning July 1, 1978.

1 assistance programs and medical assistance

4 All Title II Federal funds expended by the
5 State agency named herein, or by any political
6 subdivision, organization or other agency
7 receiving such moneys from the State agency named
8 herein shall be spent only in accordance with
9 rules and regulations regarding the expenditure
10 of funds made available under Public Law 95-30,
11 known as the "Intergovernmental Antirecession
12 Assistance Act of 1977."
13 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
