AN ACT
1 Amending the act of August 20, 1977 (No.11-A), entitled "An act
2 to provide for the expenses of the Executive, Legislative and
3 Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth, the public debt and
4 the public schools for the fiscal period July 1, 1977 to June
5 30, 1978, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining
6 unpaid at the close of the fiscal period ending June 30,
7 1977," providing an appropriation to the Department of
8 Community Affairs for grants to local governments or councils
9 of government programs.
10 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
11 hereby enacts as follows:
12 Section 1. Section 2, act of August 20, 1977 (No.11-A),
13 known as the "General Appropriations Act of 1977," is amended by
14 adding an item to the Department of Community Affairs to read:
15 Section 2. The following sums, or as much thereof as may be
16 necessary, are hereby specifically appropriated from the General
17 Fund to the several hereinafter named agencies of the Executive,
18 Legislative and Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth for the
19 payment of the salaries, wages or other compensation and travel
20 expense of the duly elected or appointed officers and employees
1 of the Commonwealth, for payment of fees of contractual services
2 rendered, for the purchase or rental of goods, services,
3 printing, equipment, land and buildings and for payment of any
4 other expenses, as provided by law or by this act, necessary for
5 the proper conduct of the duties, functions and activities and
6 for the purposes hereinafter set forth for the fiscal period
7 beginning July 1, 1977 and for the payment of bills incurred and
8 remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal period ending June
9 30, 1977.
