                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of June 3, 1937 (P.L.1225, No.316), entitled,
     2     "An act concerning game and other wild birds and wild
     3     animals; and amending, revising, consolidating, and changing
     4     the law relating thereto," providing for the delivery of a
     5     copy of an acknowledgment of guilt by the commission.

     6     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     7  hereby enacts as follows:
     8     Section 1.  Section 1203 act of June 3, 1937 (P.L.1225,
     9  No.316), known as "The Game Law," amended April 18, 1949
    10  (P.L.509, No.119), is amended to read:
    11     Section 1203.  Acknowledgment of Guilt.--(a)  Any person
    12  charged with violating any provisions of this act, other than
    13  those designated as a misdemeanor or a felony, may sign an
    14  acknowledgment of the offense committed, either before or after
    15  the beginning of suit, and pay to any duly appointed and
    16  commissioned game protector, or deputy game protector, the fine
    17  provided by this act, together with costs accruing to that date,
    18  and surrender to the Commonwealth any bird or animal, or part
    19  thereof, or any article, implement, device or equipment the use
    20  of which is expressly forbidden by this act, unlawfully taken or

     1  possessed. Such person shall receive a printed receipt therefor,
     2  which shall bear the imprint of the seal of the commission and
     3  the signature of its executive director, which shall be evidence
     4  of full satisfaction of the offense committed, except as
     5  otherwise provided in this act.
     6     (b)  The commission, upon receipt of the fine and
     7  acknowledgment of guilt together with a report of the offense
     8  made by the game protector, shall forward a copy of such
     9  acknowledgment and report to the person so charged with the
    10  offense.
    11     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
