AN ACT 1 Authorizing and directing the Department of General Services, 2 with the approval of the Department of Public Welfare and the 3 Governor, to convey to the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1, of 4 the Township of Plymouth, 1.126 acres of land, more or less, 5 situate in Plymouth Township, Montgomery County, 6 Pennsylvania. 7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 8 hereby enacts as follows: 9 Section 1. The Department of General Services, with the 10 approval of the Department of Public Welfare and the Governor, 11 is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the Commonwealth 12 of Pennsylvania, to grant and convey to the Plymouth Fire 13 Company No. 1, of the Township of Plymouth, the following tract 14 of land situate in the Township of Plymouth, County of 15 Montgomery, and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bounded and 16 described as follows: 17 Beginning at a spike in the title line of Colwell Lane, being 18 a corner of this and lands of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 19 Thence from said point of beginning along said title line north 20 37 degrees 26 minutes east 490.00 feet to a spike. Thence
1 leaving the bed of said road and along a 25-foot wide access 2 easement for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania south 54 degrees 4 3 minutes east 172.90 feet to an iron pin. Thence along lands of 4 the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania the following three courses and 5 distances, to wit: 6 (1) south 55 degrees 6 minutes west 287.52 feet to an 7 iron pin, 8 (2) south 48 degrees 19 minutes west 223.68 feet to an 9 iron pin, and 10 (3) north 53 degrees 54 minutes west 43.07 feet to the 11 aforementioned point and place of beginning. 12 Containing 1.126 acres, more or less, of land. 13 The description of the property as surveyed by F.X. Ball 14 Associates, Inc. in June 1974 and as described on their plan of 15 property 74103-3 (sheet 1 of 1) dated July 5, 1974. 16 The conveyance shall be made under and subject to all 17 easements, servitudes and rights of others, including but not 18 confined to streets, roadways, and rights of any telephone, 19 telegraph, water, electric, sewer, gas or pipeline companies, as 20 well as under and subject to any interest, estates, or tenancies 21 vested in third persons, whether or not appearing of record, for 22 any portion of the land or improvements erected thereon. 23 Section 2. The deed of conveyance shall contain a clause 24 that the lands conveyed shall be used for the construction, 25 operation and maintenance of a fire station by the Plymouth Fire 26 Company No. 1, and if at any time the said Plymouth Fire Company 27 No. 1 or its successor in function conveys said property or 28 authorizes or permits said property to be used for any purpose 29 other than the construction, operation or maintenance of a fire 30 station, the title thereto shall immediately revert to and 19770H0338B0370 - 2 -
1 revest in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 2 Section 3. The deed of conveyance shall be approved by the 3 Department of Justice and shall be executed by the Secretary of 4 the Department of General Services in the name of the 5 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 6 Section 4.
