AN ACT
1 Authorizing the Department of General Services, with the
2 approval of the Secretary of Education and the Governor, to
3 convey a tract of land in the City of Lock Haven, Clinton
4 County, in exchange for another tract of land also situated
5 in the City of Lock Haven, Clinton County.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. The Department of General Services, with the
9 approval of the Secretary of Education and the Governor, is
10 hereby authorized to convey in the name of the Commonwealth of
11 Pennsylvania to the Saint Mary's Cemetery, its successors and
12 assigns, a tract of land situated in the City of Lock Haven,
13 County of Clinton, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bounded and
14 described as follows:
15 All that certain piece or parcel of land situated in the City
16 of Lock Haven, County of Clinton, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
17 bounded and described with a survey of James Cowden, registered
18 surveyor, dated November 8, 1976, as follows:
19 Beginning at an iron pin in line of lands of St. Mary's
1 Cemetery and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania located north 62
2 degrees east a distance of 250.00 feet from a concrete monument,
3 the south west corner of lands of Saint Mary's Cemetery and the
4 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, thence along said lands north 62
5 degrees east a distance of 340.00 feet to an iron pin, (the
6 south east corner of lands of Saint Mary's Cemetery and a corner
7 of lands of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania), thence along
8 lands of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (of which this is a
9 part) south 26 degrees east a distance of 60.00 feet to an iron
10 pin, thence south 62 degrees west (and running parallel to the
11 original line) a distance of 282.06 feet to an iron pin, thence
12 still across said lands of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
13 north 72 degrees west a distance of 83.41 feet to the point of
14 beginning. Containing 0.39 acre more or less.
15 Section 2. The deed of conveyance shall be approved by the
16 Department of Justice and shall be executed by the Secretary of
17 the Department of General Services in the name of the
18 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
19 Section 3. The conveyance shall be made in exchange for a
20 grant of a conveyance to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and
21 its assigns of a tract of land hereinafter described, and the
22 Department of General Services is hereby authorized and
23 empowered to accept on behalf of the Commonwealth of
24 Pennsylvania, by deed from the Saint Mary's Cemetery, the tract
25 of land situated in the City of Lock Haven, County of Clinton,
26 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows:
27 All that certain piece or parcel of land situated in the City
28 of Lock Haven, County of Clinton, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
29 bounded and described with a survey of James Cowden, registered
30 surveyor, dated November 8, 1976, as follows:

1 Beginning at a concrete monument, (which is the south west
2 corner of lands of the Saint Mary's Cemetery and a corner of
3 lands of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania), thence north 26
4 degrees west a distance of 250.00 feet to a iron pin in line of
5 lands of Saint Mary's Cemetery and the Commonwealth of
6 Pennsylvania, thence south 72 degrees east a distance of 347.33
7 feet (crossing lands of Saint Mary's Cemetery, of which this is
8 a part), to an iron pin in line of lands of Saint Mary's
9 Cemetery and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, thence along said
10 line south 62 degrees west a distance of 250.00 feet to the
11 point of beginning. Containing 0.72 acres more or less.
12 Section 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
